"Why hide behind the mask? Who are you really?" I continued. 

He sighed, "No one really cared what I did until I put the mask on. I didn't want it to influence their opinion of me.  I want them to like me for who I am."

That was the moment when I decided that I really did owe it to my uncle to finish what he started. He'd seen a kid that needed help doing something good. A kid that needed to forget himself for a while. 

That's also the moment when I decided that I needed to find out who he was, and make sure that he wasn't forgotten.
