What follows are the contents of a journal I found while exploring my neighborhood park. It was lying at the bottom of a storm drain in a pile of ash. Despite extensive charring, most of its contents were still legible. The writer had scrawled a single sentence on the journal's cover: "If you're reading this, light a match, drop it on the book and run the other way."All Rights Reserved
