They Call Her A Monster

When most teenagers say they're different from the rest or they're weird or strange, it usually entails liking music their friends don't, wearing things that aren't trendy and being considered one of the weirdos. But that's nothing compared to what fifteen-year-old Arckenna Durmondi has to deal with. She's been called a monster by everyone her entire life. She lives in an orphanage, St. Helga's, where she has been since she was an infant. Arckenna has never met her parents and nobody knows of any so she just assumes they're dead. She only has one friend, Matthew. He's a very goth, emo 16-year-old. Despite all the rumors he's never been afraid Arckenna. But This summer an accident leads to a reveal of the truth and Arckenna discovers why she is so hated. Now she needs to face her evil.
