Awake

Anri has trouble sleeping.

When he stays awake long enough, he can see the creatures that only emerge in the deepest night; he sees hallucinations in the darkness that make him close his eyes tight whenever he slips beneath the blankets.

When he embarks on a trip to his aunt's house with his friends, he learns that a grudge of the past is held tightly by a malevolence that does not wish to be forgotten.
