Furea has always known that her family was something a little more than normal. But while her father's disappearance closes off one half of her world, the events that follow are bound to drag her kicking and screaming into the midst of another, far darker reality where magic runs thicker than water and a champion is needed.

She thought that after the loss of a father she could live through anything, but will his memories along with the aid of a loyal bird - well, okay, chicken - and several annoying siblings be enough to hold back the hungry waters...? And not to mention an irresponsible god or two.
