O mar está sem guerras a mais de 100 ostras e uma nova geração de Rei e Rainha começa, Syrena e Ash chegam a idade que devem tomar conta do seu povo e assumir o reino, seu pai os orientara mas eles devem assumir seus papeis e cuidar de todos, porém o que era pra ser apenas mais uma festa da coroação se torna um grande problema. Dylan um membro da família real acha que para que o reino prospere em paz devem acabar com os humanos que poluem os mares e para isso descobre o segredo mais bem protegido do reino e pretende usar ele para mudar as coisas. Agora Syrena e Ash devem impedir que ele comece uma guerra.

A Court of War and Sacrifice
A year has passed since Seren Marzena returned to the Night Court with her mate, Azriel. Their time of rest is coming to an end. Plans long kept silent are now being enacted. All across Prythian, threats are revealing themselves. The three Mortal Queens have returned and pledged their allegiance to Koschei, an ancient god who is determined to see Prythian crumble beneath him.
