Dan is literally Satan's son. He had lived in Hell all his life, which ironically wasn't that bad. But now his father wanted him to go up to the real world. To experience it, he even set him up at a public school, where the "different" kids went. As in, supernatural people. You know, the ones people called freaks? Witches, werewolves, vampires, wizards, cat people, or anything you can think of. When Dan goes up to Earth, he is not to tell anyone about himself. He has to lie. He does have powers, such as he grows black wings and can fly, read minds, put thoughts in people's minds, set things on fire, telekinesis, and obviously immortal...
