A/N: This one is more of a lighter sort of short story read. It's fantasy based, with some elements of teen fiction and mild utopia-turned-dystopia. Hope you guys like it!!! Also, I'm trying for updates every Wednesday, but that may change.

Carrina Daragine is absolutely ecstatic to discover that she's been accepted into the elite, best-of-the-best college, the Institute of Mythical and Worldly Arts, or IMWA. However, when she arrives in the city, she discovers that the city isn't exactly how it appears to the eye. Her guide, Kainihi, is a shapeshifting wolf, her college's receptionist is a Faerie, and the citizens of the city are all creatures straight out of a fantasy novel. To add to her confusion, all of them are in danger of both being discovered and taken to be part of a freak show and being killed by other creatures upon primal instinct. Carrina, trying her best to find a place in the new world, is also one of the gifted creatures, and has yet to find her gift.
