BOOK ONE | The Curse of the Black Pearl | Victoria Swann's fantasies were always filled with thoughts of exploration and discovery as she grew up. Of course, being the daughter of the Governor proved her life to be otherwise. However, things change on the day of Norrington's promotion ceremony, when Elizabeth passes out and falls to her near-death, and Victoria instinctively dives after her, which leads to the meeting of one pirate she'll never forget, the darkest man she'll possibly ever know, and an adventure far more dangerous than she could ever begin to dream of.

This story contains spoilers for the movie, as it follows it entirely with the exception of my original characters.

Rated PG-13 for suggestive material and violence

Natalie Dormer as Victoria Swann, Iwan Rheon as Cyrus, Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swann, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner, Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow

"Not all treasure's silver and gold mate." ~ During the 17th Century, the crystalline waters of the Caribbean Sea are nothing more than a vast playground for mystery and adventure. For Milah the town of Port Royal is a world far away from the excitement of the high seas and she very much wishes to keep it that way. However the fates deny her this peace as Jack Sparrow, a roguish yet charming pirate captain, ruins it all. The infamous and cursed pirates of the Black Pearl have attacked the town, taking Elizabeth Swann, the beautiful governor's daughter, with them. Now Milah finds that she must place trust in a pirate she barely knows and her best friend, Will Turner, to save miss Swann before it's too late. On the journey however she has no choice but to confront and remember her past, one that she has left behind for so long and would much rather keep locked up in the depths of the sea. Can Milah keep her darkest secret hidden or will her past finally catch up to her?
