Thalia did not plan on being in the mafia. Not for real. It was a joke between friends, something to scare a teacher or two with. Definitely not something she planned to really do.
But you know how faith is an bitch with the worst humor? Well, Thalia happens to dump into the mafia in the worst way ever and there is no way out. Blood, murder and a man wanting to hurt her to experience pleasure. Yeah, she did not plan on getting into the mafia.
