After nine years of all-human schools, Jolie applies to a prestigious, all-shifter private school called the Gifted Academy. Even before she gets in, she thinks she is biting off more than she can chew. And when school finally starts, she realizes she could not have been more right about that. At the Gifted Academy, she learns there is more to the name of the school and the students there than she originally thought. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."
