After Dipper's first (and accidental) love confession to Wendy is rejected, he knows he should move on. But getting over his feelings for the lax lumberjack is easier said than done. Dipper tries his luck again and reveals his feelings (intentionally) to her a second time. She shuts him down, this time with a stipulation that gives Dipper the slightest flicker of hope: Maybe if you were older... It's all it takes to get Dipper thinking. What if he WAS older? To change his age, Dipper makes a deal with the trickster dream demon, Bill Cipher.
