My parents fell in love when they were sixteen. High School sweethearts.
So did my moms mother.
And so did my brother.
I don't know. You could call it a family tradition.
You could call it love at first sight.
Destiny.
Or a curse.
All I know is that, I , Alaska Winslet, am sixteen and have not found my true love.... yet.

Alaska Winslet was always told the story of her mother and father falling in love.
She was also told the love story of her grandparents who's story was almost the exact same as her parents.
Alaska even witnessed her older brother fall in love at the age of sixteen and get married a few years later.
At a very young age, her parents would tell her, she too would fall in love at sixteen, just like her parents. And just like her grandparents.
But now sixteen, Alaska is starting to doubt that. She has never been in love with a boy ever. Except one. But their just friends.... Right?

We've been friends since grade school. Best friends at that. Never did anything without each other. We can't imagine being separated. Well, actually, we can. Ever since high school finished, we've been going our own ways, but we did make a pact. To meet up again for the two weeks that include our twentieth birthdays. So, it's just like a small family reunion. We'll celebrate like the world's about to end for fourteen days. With twenty candles. Go check that out<3 A/N (again) - I've realized there are many gaps, and grammatical and punctual errors and spelling as well…. that's a lot… I'm well aware of all of them, but when I did first write this story it was on my dinky little phone :3 and I've already started the prequel to this, so as soon as I've completed the prequel I will edit and re edit this as many times as I need to, I have to add on more to this story and I also have to take out and fix.
