She's broken, what do you expect from someone who has lost everything/everyone she loves.. Then Travis comes along falling for her beauty, is it too late or can he save her? __________________________________________________________ I look at my screen and it's him: Alec "You know you can not run from me I'll alwa-" And I feel a sharp pain. My head is being thrown back, I yelp. Getting dragged by my hair into a dark Alley. I feel his hot breath on my neck. My god he reeks of henessy "bad bad kaylie you know better than to run from me, especially when my hand's twitchy." I don't look at him but I know he's grinning-sick bastard. I feel the cold ground beneath me. I'm now looking up, and the anticipation is killing me. "If you're going to hit me! Do it already!" I yell He sucks in a breathe, and even in the dark I know his eyes have widen. I've surprised him.."Oh princess, don't be like that" he says sweetly as he kneels down to try and caress my cheek. But I slap him and I know he's angry. ___________________________________________________________ Please give the book a chance, I hope you enjoy it. "I may not remember much, but I do know that I had the best time with you last night." Charlie drops his hand from his mouth and lifts his head to stare into my eyes, pushing his hair back from his face at the same time. "And I know this is awkward now, because I'm pretty sure we were both naked together in bed last night..." I choke on air, trying to dispel the imaginary object from my throat. Charlie reaches out and lightly grasps my hand; my eyes slide from our interlocked fingers to his shining pupils. "...but I still wouldn't change a single thing about it. So, I really do look forward to hearing from you later, Kaiydeen." It's like I've been taken hostage by his electric stare. I don't want to look away. I never want to look away. The busy noises of the street and the honking of the traffic fade as I lose focus, nothing strong enough to force my attention away from this boy. Finally, Archer loudly clears his throat as he flings his door open and plops into the car with a huff, breaking the trance between the two of us. I look away as I withdraw my hand from his grasp, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. This is going to be a long 6 months. ●●● Kaiydeen has always known what she wanted, more like who, but she never knew exactly how to get it. So she's complacent with biding her time until it, actually he, comes to her; no matter how long that takes. But then one day she crashes into someone she doesn't expect. Someone that has always had an eye for her, and he isn't satisfied with biding his time until she's his. But when the one person she's always wanted admits he wants her, too, she's forced to make a choice. Should she go for the boy she just met or the boy she's always known? There is some use of mature language in this story, so if your eyes are innocent and you want them to stay that way this might not be the story for you. Credit to @slueths for the incredible cover!!
