Valarie is ripped from her hometown of Burke, Virginia and is moved to a small town on the outskirts of Atlanta called Fayetteville, Georgia. She has to learn a new school, meet new people,make the tennis team, make good grades and her new lab partner isn't making the process any easier.She has no idea what her new school and lab partner has in store her but she's not excited to find out. Valarie just wants to be left alone, all she wants to do is to go back to Virginia. But she can't, and she has to learn how to accept the move and grow up one day at a time.
