He smirked.
"So you do care?"
With confidence in his voice, he rested his eyes and sipped his hot tea. There he lay in bed, bandaged around his waist with numerous other wounds about his body. Yet he still kept his composure... and his arrogance. I stopped what I was doing and turned to look at him.
"Of course I do, I always have."
Annoyance in my voice but tenderness beneath. He could see it in my eyes, they always gave me away.
"Gotta say I'm surprised."
He cooed, still not looking at me, but rather into his own reflection casted upon his beverage. I stepped closer, arms crossed, weight shifted. His eyes met with mine. Irritated, I asked.
"About what?"
He looked at me sincerely.
That's new... not a bad look for him...
"Surprised you didn't kill me."
Even after all these years I still couldn't shake the feeling that he gave me. Cold sweat, thumping in my chest, warmth in my cheeks...
It's all his fault! How dare he!

Okay so that was a couple pieces of the first chapter chopped up so you can see what you might be in for. This is a yandere love story I've been planning for some time now and I'm finally beginning to piece it together. This is my work, no stealing, and most events or persons portrayed in the following paragraphs relating to anything similar are intended to be coincidence but some may have been inspired.
I hope you enjoy it ^^
