Kaged

Kage Okami lived a horrible life, suffering years of abuse from her alcoholic, drug addict mother, until one night her mother commits suicide and a panicked Kage runs away from home to a life on the streets. One year later, nine-year-old Kage is found half dead on the street by a mysterious woman named Luna and her sixteen year old son, Scott. It's very clear that neither Scott nor Luna are human, but lately Scott has been having severe problems with controlling his his anger-fueled powers and it's slowly destroying him on the inside. Kage soon realizes this as she forms a close bond with her older adoptive brother, and she learns that she is the only one who can save him from himself and others, and if she doesn't it could mean danger for everyone.
