Beatrice Prior went to a private school for most of her life. Right before starting her Junior year her father got relocated to Chicago for his job. Her and her brother, Caleb, kept mostly to their selves their whole Junior year. Only interacting with other people if they accidentally bumped into them in the hallways, but that is it. Beatrice and Caleb didn't mind their life being this way. All books, studying, helping other people, helping their parents around the house, coming home before 8:30 each and every night. This was how they always lived, and they didn't plan on changing it.
Until a certain school jock got his attention caught by Beatrice. Beatrice heard rumors about him, but being the person she was she helped him. This got her the nickname Tris from the one and only Four. When this happened she knew her life was changing in way she didn't want it to... or so she thought.

So, the ending to Allegiant sucks tremendously. I mean countless tissue boxes have been wasted while reading it. So I have created an alternate ending. Veronica Roth is the author of this wondrous story line, and sadly I'm a homily fan girl. I'm not the best writer so there's grammar and spelling issues, HUGE ALLEGIANT SPOILERS! Chasm
"There is a chasm between us, a gaping schism that only seems to widen as hard as we try to close the distance. Someday, our combined efforts to reach each other again will lead us both into the abyss." After an overthrow of the unwanted factionless government, the war in Chicago is over. To maintain stability, the faction leaders decide to return to the faction system. Because of this, the sixteen-year-olds that chose that year are sent back to their former factions for nine months. Tris falls into a state of depression after the war and her impromptu breakup that occurred at the end of it, and returning back to Abnegation--to the same house as her traitor brother--doesn't help. Tobias remains in Dauntless, but while he isn't exactly despondent, he does feel out of place. He doesn't fit in and cannot go on with normal life after everything that happened. Then, Choosing Day arrives. And history definitely does not repeat itself when Tris goes through the initiation process with her old friends and enemies, her ex-boyfriend, and the new sixteen-year-olds, while citizens of Chicago are mysteriously dying. Third of all: Disclaimer: I respect Ms. Roth's ending, but I still love Tris, so here I am. I also don't own Divergent. EXCERPT FROM TOBIAS' POV: 'That is how I lost my temper. I couldn't stand her. Or David. Or The precious, ever-so-worthy Bureau. I punched her square in the nose, and she fell. Weakling. Do these so-called Pures know how to fight? I kick her, until someone pulls me away. I hear them mutter, "stupid Dauntless soldiers. Why is this my job, taking them to David?"' EXCERPT FROM TRIS' POV: 'Mom?" I say, softly, and she embraces me. But this time it is not a tug towards death, but rather the opposite. A string to life. "Beatrice," she says, and I break from the hug. "I just wanted to say to you that I am so proud of you, Beatrice. You are strong, brave, intelligent, and beautiful. I can tell you are going to have a great future with Tobias."
