Jean Prouvaire had always been a slightly awkward, timid boy. He wrote poetry, loved flowers, and had a soft way about him. This wasn't a problem until it came to women. Due to his shyness, he lost the one woman he loved and grew to dislike girls. But when his friends at the Café Musain start to give him trouble about this, he knows something must change. A shady stranger offers to fix Jehan's problem and thrusts him into the darker side of Paris young Prouvaire never imagined venturing into when just by chance, he comes across the stunningly beautiful, yet troubled Margot Marseilles, a dirt-poor girl who had sunk to the very bottom of society and carries a lot of emotional baggage. When he hears about her situation, he takes her in and starts to recover the happy, smiling Margot that had been lost long ago. However, with things in the revolution heating up, and Prouvaire's life as a member of les Amis de l'ABC getting harder and harder, he is forced to choose between the life that he wants or the life that could be.

------ "It's either the kiss or the revolution" Paris, France, spring of 1832 Victorie is like a friendly shadow at Café Musain. A girl who always welcomes the guests with a warm smile never thinks twice before helping Madame Hucheloup and brings snacks for the always hungry boys, hidden in the back room. To them, she's only a girl who works at the Café, a girl who is always there to linger around and listen to their meetings, criticize their opinions and to make sure they go home before three in the morning. Enjolras has always been annoyed by her presence, but never denied her entrance to the back room, partially because feared angering the boys and Madame Hucheloup who all seemed to adore this simple girl, but also because he always found himself unable to utter a reasonable sounding world in a conversation with her. With the impending revolution, the leader of Les Amis de l'ABC has no time to think about the irrelevant girl. Courfeyrac, their best friend. The centre of the group. He's always there to support his friends, to tell a joke or two and to mend everyone's problems. Can it be that he is not all he seems to be? What happens when the glue that holds everything together begins to break? Could the group survive without its joining factor? The choices to make are not going to be easy... One is known... Everything will change when the boys find out that Victorie is keeping secrets... ---- #1 in #Courfeyrac 28/03/2019. and 10/05/2019 / 28/12/2021 #1 in #lesmiserables 20/11/2018 and 3/1/2023 #2 in #enjolras 3/4/2021 Disclaimer: I do not own Les Misérables! ✬ 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕜 & 𝕃𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕊𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕤 ✬ There is a crucial moment in one's life that determines the outcome of everything; well, as books and movies would have you believe. But Monica McCaslin didn't think she would ever be one of those people, would ever have one of those moments. Brought up in a small suburb, with everything she could ever ask for, there wasn't much left for her to want. Monica's ordinary life was to go as such- follow her high school sweetheart to college, graduate, get married, have two kids; the cookie cutter life. White picket fence included. What she did not expect was to meet a dark-haired stranger sitting all alone on a park bench, at that very same school she was to attend with said future husband. After a brief conversation, just a handful of words between them, Monica decides to go on a cross-country road trip with him; putting her faith and future in the hands of a stranger. Thinking she'd soon regret her decision and the life she left behind, she realizes she doesn't at all. Free of expectation and a future that she thought was set in stone, she begins to find the woman she was truly meant to be. State by state, with each border they cross, Monica liberates her true self. 𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 ➃ 𝕠𝕗 ➃ - ℂ𝕠𝕞𝕡𝕝𝕖𝕥𝕖 - ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ This is a work of fiction.
