Perhaps he will never know, but she wishes they could go back to those days, when the future seemed to be bright and there were just the two of them, and their friends, their youth, their promises. She loves him, too. But now, when happiness has faded and their promises have been broken, love seems just pointless. They don't know that love is the only thing that can save them again, as it had done once.

Dear Johnny, I'm not quite sure what I want to say. I know I want to say something, though, so I guess this is better than nothing at all. I'm going to start writing you letters, because I miss you so much there's a pain in my chest and I just want to let you know how things are, how I'm doing. I want to remember and I want you to remember. There are too many things I don't want either of us to forget. But most importantly, I want to let you know how much I love you.
