Alex is a 17 year old girl. She is really smart, but clumsy as a dog with a bag on its head. She is still trying to beat her depressing that she suffered through most her life. Her whole world seems to crumble constantly on her. She thinks she has no one and that nothing else can be worse than her life and luck. At least that's what she thought until something happens. Something she never would have ever expected.

Derek is a Dragon shifter. He is the first heir of the throne, making him to-be king. He has seen many decades even though he looks roughly 25. He lives and sees beautiful places everyday. Derek is supposed to inherit the crown from his father in about a month. Everything is set up for him when his Uncle, the King, steps down from the thrown and retires. He needs to find his mate. So he may or may have not of gone into the human world asking a friend for advise. It seems as though he has never seen a day that has gone wrong once. Well, not until he does something he may or may not regret.
