Sixteen year old Alex Hogue has lived there his whole life and he has never seen a real live wolf. And when he does the town with nothing to hide clams up. Convincing Alex that it was just a hallucination caused by the intense heat of the day .But Alex is sure of what he saw. Were as to Katrina Whitaker the town is only a summer home. One filled with nightmares of the forest and daja vu that is completely unexplainable. When Alex and Kat begin noticing more and more strange things around the town they realize that Kovinville isn't squeaky clean at all. No, it's covered in mud.
