A howl pierces the air, then two, then three. The chatter that was going on downstairs abruptly stopped, and everyone had one thought.
*A wars going on, get to the safehouse underground*
The Fighters in the pack rushed off as everyone ran to the dungeons. I was at the very back of the crowd, nervously looking behind me every so often. The battle was clearly heard as the metal door was opened and everyone rushed in. I closed the door behind me as I went through, encasing us in darkness, and followed everyone down the dark stone steps.

Who's hunting who exactly ? Not in anyone's wildest dreams, not even in mine I'd dream of this night to happen to me. Not many people think they will ever go up against a blood thirsty, horrifying non existing beast. Yet I do. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Then there's me, Arya Jennings, a typical shy quiet person, not even close to be somewhat popular. I prefer to be alone, I always has. Until my world turned upside down. New town. New identity. Same crazy. I love it!!! (insert enthusiastic voice ) (cough, cough) Not!! I hate it. I hate having to to hide who I am. I whine and beg my mother at the same time to let me stay home. What was I thinking? My mom has an image to uphold being this perfect mother who loves and cares about her little baby girl. We both know the truth. Until a few years ago, I never even knew she existed. She and my father both agreed to send me here because they couldn't stand the fact that I fell in love with a black boy. Although neither of them would ever admit, that's the only reason why I know of her. I don't want to attend a school where I'm going to have to forsake who I truly am just to fit into their liking. I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. Crossing Into Forever
In the darkness of her dreams, she saw herself standing at a window looking down below, only to see a misting, swirling fog. She could not see the ground and did not know how far down it was. She had no idea where she was. Soon after, she was led down a dark hallway to a room with a large altar. She felt herself being lifted up and then placed back down on the hard stone surface. Now all she could see was a large man, holding a knife in his hands, with the sharp edge pointed directly over her heart...Then a different man with deep blue eyes was looking down at her, and his hand was caressing her face, telling her everything was going to be ok. A loud bang on the door made her startle and rise up. There, coming through the door, were several large angry men, dressed strangely in what looked like animal furs and carrying ominous looking weapons. Some had clubs with sharp objects attached to the ends and others had sharp axes and swords. She could hear her own screams escaping from her lips, and she opened her eyes to notice she was lying in her bed in the safety of her room in the convent where she lived. She was still trembling and had to tell herself it was just a dream. She was safe and no one would ever be able to hurt her.Complete

I watched closely as the blue eyes crept closer. They started to multiply as well as they started racing after me. I sprinted, my footsteps made no noise while they twitched and darted after me. Some were faster than the others. I weaved in between the trees, flashlights and crawlers were racing behind me. The sirens starting to go off. They noticed my disappearance. It was not long before I heard more steps behind me. With one look over my shoulder and through the trees, it seems that they're hunting me like dogs. My friends sprinted next to me. All I can hear is the loud ring of silence. It's broken only once a day, when a small portion meal comes through a slot that is immediately sealed after. It's dark. Nothing but black. I lost count of the days at 127. I don't know where I am, I've only heard one thing. I overheard them say, "The North field was over ran, it's complete chaos over there. The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. What if he had a past he didn't tell you about and the only way you found out is because the past came to kill you? And I'm not talking werewolves and vampires. Cherise would only wish for problems for they would be so simple compared to hers and Zaire's.
