Nico has been alone for most of his miserable, 16 year life. He was left to die when he was young, after being blinded by his own sister. The scars still cover his face and run over his eyes. He has always relied on himself, his hearing mostly. He hides his face with his silver hair and never lets anyone in. He is a outcast from the world he belongs in, the world of powers and shifters. He himself can turn into a wolf at will.

Amy grew up with a deaf brother, and a blind brother. She cares for them, and makes sure they know wrong from right. She has had a good life, with rich parents. She recently had her Sweet 16 and was showered with gifts from her parents. She is far from spoiled however.

When the two meet in a mall, it changes both their lives.
