I started writing this fan fiction story after watching Thor Ragnarok, so the events described here happen before Infinity War and End Game. Actually, the assumption is that in my story events from Infinity War and End Game never take place - let's say that it's a parallel universe (or a separate timeline - which is possible as we now know).
Thor and Loki reach Earth - as they planned in the ending scene of Ragnarok - and start cooperating with the Avengers. Stark and Rogers, still not on best terms after Civil War, are forced to work together. Banner is happy to be back to work in the Avengers lab, but still keeping his distance from Natasha.
This story is however not as much about the Avengers, but more about an ordinary person being forced into their world by a turn of events.
