Especially your junior and senior year the last time you'll see the faces of friends, foes, lovers, and the neighbor to the left of your house. Yuno and Emi have been rivals since childhood. Why? Both strive to become valedictorians. Separately they both rank top students in their genders but for top students overall they are tied. That's a problem. Yuno's parents and Emi's parents are the best of friends. Since living next door to each other there is never a time they don't see each other's faces and since their family has occasional dinner together there is never a time that they don't see each other.
