As the Empire Began to Fall by unaninjaturtle

Being neurodivergent, maybe, kind-of queer (she doesn't know yet), and adopted without a single other girl in her house, fifteen year old Star has enough problems on her plate. Being in high school is hard enough, but when she starts displaying freakishly supernatural strength, it gets a lot worse. Then, right at the epitome of a prevailing identity crisis, shit hits the fan, and Star's country is invaded by a violent, weirdly religious nation called Callila, who seems particularly hellbent on taking over the entire continent for their god. Star and her friends are dragged out of their safe, loving world by their ankles and thrust into one full of deceit, barely concealed sexism and homophobia, and superiority complexes rooted in classism. Star learns that she has an alleged relation to a long dead court noble she couldn't care less about and meets Arlen, an enigmatic, if slightly annoying, prince who seems hellbent on protecting her from the true evilness that lurks around her while helping her hone her new found strength, which is slowly but steadily creeping out of control. But as time continues to pass and tensions grow higher, Star hears whispers about a growing rebellion that could dissolve the current monarchy and bring her back home. She decides to help, along with her friends, and begins to realize that being young does not exclude her from the horrors of war, and she is faced with the fact that even if she is able to return home, nothing-not even her-will ever be the same. *Basically, a YA novel with teenagers being teenagers, more gay, more diversity, a lot more swearing, and darker humor. Something I'm writing for fun. Give it a shot if you so wish.

No one knows why for sure, your mother has told you that a witch in New Orleans may have the answers as to why you were born, and has more information about your true father. But when you arrive in New Orleans, there is a war brewing between the vampires, werewolves, and witches of New Orleans. Somehow you play into ending the war with your ascension or the destruction of the city with your death. That is when you come across the oldest vampire family in the world. Klaus sets out to use you to take back the city from Marcel when his family and the supernatural factions find out who you are when you are caught in the cross fire of a fight between the Marcel's vampires and Elijah Mikaelson, which causes you to be injured to the point of death, you are healed and brought back to life by your father and acquiring Mjiolnir in the process, which seemed to find you in that moment. Soon you find yourself capturing the attention of Niklaus and Elijah Mikaelson. But you also capture the attention of the youngest Mikaelson brother when he arrives into town. [Read and enjoy! Please feel free to leave feedback.] [DISCLAIMER: I do not own any characters related to The Originals.] [In this fanfiction, Hayley is there, but she isn't pregnant. Also I'll have some of the dialogue and scenes from the show, but majority will have my own spin on it. Also, this is my first fanfiction like this, so please bare with me. I will also try to update as often as I can. The werewolves will play a key part in my next book, that will be a continuation of this one.] [Completed May 2020]
Outcasts by KatJWarren

Cassidy lives like most other under 21s - she follows the law. She knows that if she doesn't, she risks being taken away. Rebellious behaviour cannot be tolerated under any circumstances, especially with her parents watching her every move. The rules have been in place for a long time - the Democrats have beaten the Republicans in the New Elections for the past 60 years, with their names being the only recognisable aspects of their parties when comparing to the past. Anyone that chooses not to follow the rules can drop out and become what's known as an Outcast, but then you risk being imprisoned. While America seems to be running perfectly under these laws, a rebellion is stirring among the professionals. With secrets and lies in government and families alike to change the future of America forever, Cassidy finds herself caught up in the middle of the all out war that is about to break out. What she thought she knew about her world is about to change forever, bringing everyone she knows down with her. DISCLAIMER 2016/2017: This book is a few years old at this point, and due to the political uproar in American in 2016 I feel the need to make this abundantly clear. Outcasts takes place in a dystopian world in an undetermined year in the future, and the political parties depicted in this story - the Republicans and the Democrats - are in no way, shape or form a commentary on their real-life counterparts. I had very little knowledge of American politics when I wrote this story, and if I could go back and change their names I would. Throughout the story you will read of absurd flaws in both party agendas, and in no way did I ever intend to shame or defame the real life Republican and Democratic parties of America. See them as purely fictitious - that's what they are, after all.
Blood and Thunder by KyleWilliamUrban
35 parts Complete Mature
You've just woken in the woods, away from everything you know. You're dazed and confused, unable to comprehend what's just happened. As you are coming to, images flash before your eyes of the last few days. Your parents were taken by the police, you were forced to run, to leave everything behind, to save yourself and your sister. But she isn't here. You panic and look around, you stop. You remember. She too was taken, you are alone. For now. This is what happened to Alexander, his life has just been turned upside down. The year is 2415, the world has both evolved and devolved. It isn't how people imagined. Flying cars, robots in every house, telekinetic pencils. No, they are only in comic books. Self driving cars. No robots in houses, but workhouses instead. Telekinetic pencils... that's possible, if you are gifted with the power of telekinesis. There are dark truths hidden behind closed doors, that only few know. Truths that if they got out, would bring the downfall of the government. A government that has been deceiving people for generations. But they haven't been as careful as they thought, because 100 years ago, one guy found out their secrets. 100 years ago, one guy started the rebellion that would bring about the end. From burning books, rewriting history and breaking human rights, this government will stop at nothing to make it seem that they are doing good. But people have had enough, the secret came out before. It's only a matter of time until it happens again. This time by a group of people that no one expected. Together they work to find out the truth, but things have gotten worse over the last century and this may not only bring around the downfall of the government. Armed only the powers they were born with, the group do everything they can to discover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But many have tried and failed, do they really stand a chance? Alexander doesn't think so, but his main concern is finding his sister, Rosia.

Blue Archive: EISENBERG (2064) - Story of male students

7 parts Ongoing

10 years ago, there was an incident that led to a war that engulfed Kivotos - the Dark Dawn Incident. Thousand upon thousands of Kivotos girls died tragically even with their special capability. All by the hand of the opposite gender. In just a few months. Kivotos had deported ANY person who was male; they claimed it to be the only path to Peace. But is this what "peace" really is? And so, ten years later. The Eisenberg Military Academy (EMA) was formed in secret as a heavily armed student force of the Kaiser. Will this "War to end all war" really end all the wars between males and females in Kivotos? (This is my first Blue Archive Fanfiction where instead of focusing on Sensei or the girl like other generic stories. Why don't we drive a bit into a more controversial topic? A topic that the Blue Archive writer had been ignoring for years since the release of the game.) (All of this is a Head Canon and work of Fiction, it isn't official nor is it tied to any official Blue Archive. This is just a fanmade story made by someone who loves to play the game)
