The Chronicles of the Milky Way Galaxy : Gaia
A meteorite slams into the earth causing a global catastrophe, the particles on the atmosphere block out the sun for years, slowly cooling the planet leading to a world-wide ice age. Humans find refuge in dome cities, pre-build when the meteorite was detected, which are meant to last under the snow for thousands of years. In the process, technology brings forth the age of immortality and unprecedented automation. The result is a decaying society blind to any cause and drugged to survive the endless parade of years. An idea sparks in the mind of Alex. An idea already rooted in the minds of humans since their early appearance on Earth. Migrate. Within a few years, a team had been formed and a budget had been granted for project Gaia to initiate. The spacecraft "Hera" is built in space, ready to take a few settlers to Solis. A solar system which seems to be ideal for harboring life. Many planets within the goldilocks zone and an abundance of oxygen. Is Alex the hero who will rebuild humanity in a new world or someone who abandoned Earth when it most needed its healthiest minds? This is not an Apocalypse
The world is changing, two years ago strange weather, various anomalies and strange creatures started appearing from nowhere all over the world. Some creatures were completely alien and others were familiar looking as if they'd stepped from myth and legend. What many of these creatures had in common however was their aggressive nature and predatory instinct. Things that go bump in the night, that shifting shadow in the dark alley way, the cracking branch right behind you. Nightmarish creatures now stalk the land. Monsters. That isn't the only change in a new world however, humans have also changed. Some unknown phenomenon has granted humanity access to incredible power. The very elements themselves can now be wielded by those willing to risk the dangers. Earth, wind, fire, water, suddenly magic has become possible in a modern world and there are many who are eager to develop and embrace their newfound power and help protect their fellow man from monsters. There are also many who are willing to make a profit from newfound opportunities this changing world provides. Unfortunately for our MC Jack, embracing newfound power and going out to valiantly battle monsters isn't quite as simple as most other people have it. He possesses the rare and not so sought after lightning element, considered the weakest element for certain reasons, pitied and looked down upon Jack is determined to become a successful monster hunter in a more and more dangerous world. A slow burn story with world building, dungeon delving, character progression, Litrpg elements and more. WARNING - The MC is not a Mary Sue, he is not super competent, or super powerful or super intelligent nor a paragon of virtue, just a normal guy in a not so normal situation and him growing to deal with it in his own way.

The Story follows a once human girl named Aira with almost no recollection of the memories of her old life. All she remembers is waking up in a dark space with a deep voice asking her for a wish before she reincarnated into her next life in a different world, a world of Sword and Magic called Krupia with many different races as its residents. "All my life i hated humans. They disgust me. They are the reason for our planets extinction with their stupid wars and foolish actions. Aiming to create a world of wealth and happiness by destroying it in the process... the irony. I can't stand being one of them any longer so i'll become their greatest nightmare and I know just the way to bring them the despair and horror they deserve. I'm no longer Aira. From now on I shall be called Zyra and you have the honor to adress me as your Queen." Follow Zyra in her new life as the Queen of her very own swarm. I never thought my life could make a 180 degree turn . I just wanted to party and enjoy like the rest of the teenagers in the world. Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. So, sorry in advance. ~Just Perfect EDIT: As of 03/29/14 (arranged in this order: dd/mm/yy), this story has deviated from its original "pure romance," into something worth delving deeper into. Quite interesting. And because of this... "something worth delving deeper into," I have decided to continue the story with a PART TWO! Though that will have to wait until after Exile. Or maybe when I get tired of Exile and hope to continue this again. But either way, there WILL be a part two for those who want more zoophilia. "Yabbies. Funny little things, all in their own world at the bottom of the dam. A bit like us, ain't they? Can't see a thing for all the mud in the water; bits and pieces drift down, in any old order, all out of sequence, an' we have to make sense of them as best we can." This unusual novel explores ideas about sustainability from a different angle: that we can't achieve a sustainable world without a system of law that supports it. For that to happen, we would need a revolutionary change in the way we see our world: a refocus of passion from possession to purpose. In some ways, as one character explains, we may not have much choice: "The whole system is so fragile that there's a real risk it could collapse at any time, in a really big way. Those problems are inherent in the system: the whole thing is held together by little more than wishful thinking." But what if only some countries made that change, and others didn't? What would happen to trade, to international relations, to everyday living? How would they deal with business-visitors, or tourists? We see these themes through story-fragments, each piece drifting down through the waters of time, each character describing their own worlds and experiences in their own unique voice.
