One way people had figured to do it is give a child a tattoo at birth, however, this disappears until you turn of age. This tattoo would match your soul mates tattoo. Whether it be a bird or a tree, anything could be a tattoo. Once you turn of age, which is the age of seventeen, your tattoo would appear. The tattoo would be on display until you find your soulmate, this meaning your tattoo had to be somewhere a civilized person could see. Once you have found your soulmate, that tattoo would disappear.
