A sheltered life can be suffocating for Skylar Fawn. If only she had been warned that the breath would be stolen from her by her new family members. Would she have to drown to feel alive again? She's already dying, however more than her life is experiencing changes.

In a battle to find out what and who she is, Skylar must also conceal herself. She's learning more about the outside world, and diving deeper into trust she doesn't have. Sky will learn to find answers she didn't think possible and will have to listen to the intrusive playboy Seth Stonemen to get  them.
