Just as he was drifting off, he saw a shadow at his window and then watched as it put one leg in, and then the other. At first he thought he was dreaming, but then it slowly sunk in that someone had just climbed through his window. He kicked off his covers and rushed out of his bed to turn on the light. "What the-" he heard the shadow say. Well, now that he could see it clearly, it, was a girl. She was covering her eyes and squinting at the sudden light. "Who the hell are you? What are you doing in my room?" Luke practically yelled at the girl. His nerves hadn't settled down yet and he felt guilty when seeing the girl wince at his loud voice. "Woa, geez chill out. I saw your window open and I don't know, I crawled through it I guess." Luke opened his mouth to speak but then closed it. Yea, no big deal, lemme just break into someone's house. Just a typical Thursday night. Description: Luke's only goal is to get through high school, get his scholarship, and leave his problems behind. However, his plan quickly gets shredded when a girl climbs through his window and his one chance of getting a scholarship is out the door. Now, losing a chance at a scholarship seems like nothing compared to the secrets the girl brings with her. Wide eyed at the truth, Luke doesn't know who to trust anymore. How can you trust someone when all they did, your entire life, was lie to you? His life quickly gets turned upside down as he fights through pain, tightens friendships, falls in love, and heals wounds that have been open for far too long.

Alex Harper loves Dylan West ever since she can remember. Too bad he never noticed her. Not even with the countless dinners at each other's houses and vacations spent together, thanks to their parents' long friendship. Well, that's about to change! Now that she's a Senior, Alex decided it was time for a makeover. She looks different and feels more confident. Sometimes at least... Considering Dylan is going to college close to home, hopefully, he will finally see her as more than the girl he grew up with. A girl can dream, right? When summer is over and Dylan lays eyes on her new version, that dream might just come true. That is if Bennett West doesn't get in the way. Meet Dylan, your typical jock, popular, adored by many and Keithton High School's golden boy. No wonder why Alex loves him so much, just like almost every other girl in school. Now, Bennett couldn't be more opposite from his brother. He sure has the good looks too, but that's all they have in common. He's obsessed with science, doesn't like sports or parties, straight A student and adored by his teachers. People call him weirdo to say the least. In a whirlwind of events and deep conversations, Alex finds herself getting closer to Bennett and a renewed friendship starts to surface, just to remind her that maybe he's not so weird as people say. Still quiet, but not weird. When Dylan starts paying attention to Alex, Bennett is worried that she might get her heart broken as he know his brother's ways with girls. It's not because they are closer now that he has the right to judge her relationship with his brother. Why on earth does he care anyway? It can only be envy of his brother for all the attention he gets, right? It's not her fault Bennett doesn't have Dylan's charisma. Maybe Alex will figure it his reasons when it's too late. Join Alex on her road to dreams coming true, just to realize that maybe she has been dreaming about the wrong person all along.
