Mia Summers had just made into the College of her dreams. Yet she wish she was dreaming when a group of supernatural terrorists saves her life from murders and thieves. Her luck couldn't be any worse. Then again, what does luck compare to new found powers awakening with in.
Mia must find a way to control her powers as she is thrown into a world hidden behind secret societies and organizations.
The lore behind the marks is simple.
Beings, from before the wheel was invented, saw violence and war break out between other creatures of the earth. They decided to grant one race, every other five millennia, to come together and keep the earth at peace, by giving them powers of elements and charm.
Through out the centuries there have been 24 cycles of animal races, including humans, taking care of the earth.
But on the 24th cycle, a tragedy struck, and doomed that cycle to reset.
What happens now, can only be decided by the Marked.

This world is set in the past. In a time where nothing was impossible, Where dragons fly above our heads. We learned to ride them, and become friends with them. We created artifacts that make our dragos small and then big again when we need them. That's what sets our world into two sides. A side where dragon riders lived and flew on them. And a side where they hated dragons, and the one that rode them. Even though we managed to work in peace, there was no war between us. Only fights that were under control and rules. In the Arena in the city called Aeloria. A city where there were both sides. They mostly ignored each other. But it was hard to get in this city. Mostly it was the people that lived there. And a few outsiders, but that was either the sellers, chosen group of warriors or dragon riders, and lastly the best fighters of the academies that went into the arena. To prove who is stronger and the winner will receive high quality weapons or any other things of their choice. One day the darkness came and war started. Not between us, but with a kingdom that was across the sea. And this battle or war changed everything we knew. I'm Ardyn, I'm on the side where we ride on dragons. And this story can be easy but also hard to understand. But I will still share it. But first we have to start from the beginning. What will this story bring? Will we be able to see the outcome? So this is a story I wrote about a girl named Nova. She lives in a world where everyone has a supernatural power. Nova is 13, and if a person's power doesn't show by the time they're 14, they're given to the Government to either be tested or killed. The Government basically makes all the decisions for the whole country. So, Nova's 13, and she still hasn't discovered her powers. When her birthday comes, she still has no power. She can either be sent to the Government, for either testing or death, or she can risk her life running away. I created this story, I created these characters, the characters and the plot are mine.
