"Behind every scar there is a story of survival."
That's not entirely true, because I didn't survive. Not yet, anyway. I'm haunted by my past and no matter how hard I try to forget, my scars are always there to remind me. The jagged line may be numb to the touch, but the pain is still there, tainting my memories. It's gotten the best of me and I've never cared... until now.

This is my story to "you". This is a story about loving someone so much and after all else you don't always get the happily ever after that you always want. No matter the fighting and clinging towards this love. Sometimes the only thing you have left is the memories. This became a story for me to heal my wounds and grow into the woman I am now.
