a little story I'm writing involving the movie stand by me, and River Phoenix's character Chris Chambers. I know the boys are 12/13, which is fairly young so I'm making them about 14 instead. I am not trying to ruin the point of this movie! I'm just having fun and messing around. I do not own stand by me or any of the characters except the ones I created. Hope you enjoy and don't take it too seriously!

They lived in a small town called Castle Rock. Everybody knew everybody and everybody knew everyone's secrets. There was Teddy DuChamp who was the craziest among the five kids. There was Vern Tessio who most everybody picked on. There was Gordon LaChance, the talented writer who lost his older brother Dennis in a jeep accident.
