When an alpha is no longer able or willing to lead his pack, he must hand the title to his first born, or to his beta. That is the rules set by the previous werewolf King over a thousand years ago.

      Being the eldest of her seven siblings, Piper Channing expects to be deemed the new Alpha of the Iron Moon  pack when her father steps down. But that's not what her father had in mind, he had planned on letting his first born son have the title. Why? Because no one wants a She-Wolf as a leader, there's never been one and never will be. At least that's what tradition says.

     Piper on the other hand, she was determined to end the demeaning tradition and prove that she could not only be an outstanding Alpha, but continue to be the most feared pack in North America, a reputation her father has worked so hard to earn.  

     With news spreading fast, The Alpha King has to see the puny female that thinks she could possibly lead a pack, so he heads to Iron Moon and what he sees shocks him beyond words. The 'puny female' happens to be his mate. And she is everything but puny.
