Eighteen-year old Cadence Marks has always lived on Lumenestria- a planet several million light-years away from Earth- in Dome 68, fairly close to Central Dome. His life would've been very comfortable if only he were the same as the rest of the Lumenestrians, but he was different- creative, emotional, unique. Lumenestrians value sameness; where there is difference, there is conflict.
Cadence must run for his life through the barren and toxic Outside to escape the treacheries the Council has in store for him. During his journey he meets a band of rebels who help him flee and let him in on secrets a thousand years forgotten.

Awakening - The Last Science #1 de Etzoli
143 partes Concluida
No one ever knows the whole story... Nestled deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, something is emerging. Kept in absolute secrecy, it seeps into a fading town, quietly shared from person to person. For Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate, this discovery could mean an escape from his empty existence. To Rachel DuValle, perpetually underestimated and dismissed by the world, magic represents a chance to become something much greater than herself. In the face of an unsuspecting world, their decisions shape the growth of a budding society discovering untold power. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever - or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. ----- The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series. New chapters will be posted on Fridays for as long as it takes to tell the whole story. For Wattpad only, chapters are split up by individual scenes-if you would prefer the whole chapters in single pieces, please visit my homepage or another site where I post this story, thanks! In American rating parlance, the narrative would be rated PG-13 (except for language), but some have noted the story can get pretty dark on occasion. Please use your best judgment, and don't be afraid to take breaks and come back later. I'll still be here! This story will also be published weekly at my website (https://etzo.li). {✨Book 1✨} The year is 2162. Four light years from Earth, the first human colony struggles to survive on a planet without breathable air with a limited population. Dylan Brink knew that she didn't get a choice in her partner; she just didn't expect him to be so...different from her. Her days were focused on the colony's need to keep breathing; he memorized poetry. When the two of them accidentally uncover a century old secret, it will test the bounds of their fledging romance and possibly endanger all life on their new planet. Some secrets were meant to stay forgotten. (Highest rank: #19 in science fiction)
