His name was Chase. He was the most popular guy in school who could have any girl he wanted, yet he went for the weird, outcast girl. Her name was Miranda. Why go for the weird girl? Lets say it was a challenge Chase couldn't refuse. Miranda was an outcast in school. She had mainly two friends who she did everything with. But once this popular guy takes notice of her will she remain the same or let popularity get to her head. This isn't your average cliche popular girl meets geek girl. There is a slight twist into the story that you will have to read to find out.

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
