Buck has been abandoned. His Master has left him alone with his two dog-friends locked in the house and vacated the city like everyone else. Outside, the wind howls and the rain drives down like the sky is falling, and Buck knows he needs to get out. 
  Using his husky instincts, Buck manages to break out of his house. But the only thing that he discovers Outside is the ghost of a wrecked city - collapsed buildings, littered streets, and water everywhere. As he searches the city, Buck and his friends find a pair of dogs in an alleyway, and the five of them band up to help others in need. 
  Even when things start to brighten up, something much darker than a storm finds its way into the city - wild dogs. Can Buck save his friends, or has the storm taken all their hopes away?

"leave! go somewhere safe!" Mitch said, pulling a knife out of his leg. they were fleeing from the townspeople who had lit their house on fire screaming; "be gone evil demons!" all the couple wanted was to be able to live like normal humans, but atlass that was impossible. Reapers keep taking lives, and Humans continue feering them. and so, the couple grabbed their baby girl; Staffie. their hellhound; Unicorn and grabbed their death scythe's. -one year later- they arrived in a human city where some friends lived. "Mitch, what are we going to do now?" "we will live like humans for as long as possible. and, if we're lucky, we can keep this awful fate of being a Reaper from our daughter." he said looking down at the small child holding his hand tightly. and they did keep being a Reaper from her. and, when she turned 18 the decided they should tell her; but not empty handed. so they left to get her a death scythe. little did they know; they would never see her again. and she would have to figure it out on her own.

This will be a somewhat slow burn, with lots of tension, eventual strangers to friends, and friends to lovers with a lot of angst thrown into the mix. Set six months the events of TFATWS. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. Amy has has the best life, she has good friends, a good parent, and the best boys chasing after her, but when a new guy, zack, comes and moves right across the street her whole life changes. if you want the first three chapters I will summarize them. chapter 1 Amy is getting ready for her date with a boy from the school that she has been wanting to ask in a long time. but he doesn't come and just disappears from the state. when she is waiting she see a moving van pull up and goes to see who's going to be her new neighbors. chapter 2 when Amy gets over to their yard she introduces herself and says that her mom is at work but will come over and meet them when she gets off work. when she gets home she tells her brother Sam about the girl that lives across the street, and he doesn't want to at first but then Amy tells him that she is his age and he jumps up and runs out of the house. then she goes upstairs to her room and calls her friends Lola and Lizzy to come over and they talk about Zack until Amy's mom comes home and she makes a welcoming dinner for them and they take it over to them that day. that's same day Amy starts getting to know Zack better. chapter 3 Zack wakes Amy up and starts talking to her about their date. it may seem like they are going on a date the day after they just met but Zack it persistent and wants to get to know her better, and he wants to get to know her fast. after Zack is done talking to her she tries to go back to sleep but she can't so she takes a shower. after her shower she gets out and finally looks in the mirror and sees her marks that are like fire but the color is black.

If he didn't learn how to handle hardships and what it's like being a human in that time frame, he would die. Jack soon meets an unexpected rescuer who takes him in and cares for him. Not only is he fighting against time, but the Boogyman decides to make Jack a target. Will he learn his lesson? Or will he die in 3 months time? If he is to survive, what will happen next? What will happen to Pitch? **This book is not all light hearted, there are serious topics included in it.**
