Most part of the people regret something they did in their past... or something they couldn't do.
But that isn't Erin Bright's case, a sixteen-year-old girl that never goes unnoticed because of her eyes or her blonde long hair. Erin has been living all over the world because of Daniel's work, his father, since she was a toddler, next to her mother Elizabeth and her brother Aiken.
Erin is one of the few people who would not change anything about her past , who thinks that everything , good or bad, happens for a reason.

Love is nothing unless felt. It shows its presence silently, waiting patiently, lurking in the shadows of hearts. All this while, the silence as its faithful companion, holds its hand and bears every sigh, every torment, every skip of a heartbeat, every joy, and every glance with it. They complete each other and yet they don't, for love demands recognition. It requires confirmation and when the love has reached its peak, it pushes the silence down. Breaks it, steps over it, and shouts to the whole world the tale of its existence. And silence, it smiles watching the whole scene. But as it is said, silence in itself is the loudest cry. No- far from it- he has a group of friends he plays baseball with and surf during the summer. He has family that he is known to hang out with. He just tends to stay away from big crowd of people where he doesn't feel comfortable in. Isla and her friends find themself at this opportunity of a lifetime. Finishing off her Junior year of high school, her school offers resources to go on a trip with teenagers like her. Travel for Teens isn't a new concept but it is for the small town of South Carolina. At this opportunity, the group of people jump at the chance to get out and do something new which will no doubt be fun. It was supposed to be fun for Julian as well but after plans abruptly change and thousands of dollars that cannot go to waste, he finds himself alone at the trip. Sure, he can go out and socialize with teenagers especially since they're ones from his school but he finds himself isolated from the group. The teens throw a big party at the house during the end of the trip. The small leads to a boring night at the end. The teens find themself playing little games to occupy time. "I dare you to kiss a guy you don't even know the name of," Isla was asked and soon she found herself kissing Julian. It shocks Julian to a pause, here he was sitting idly to a girl kissing him suddenly. Julian ponders on it, but then finds out that the kiss wasn't meant to be anything. But will the kiss turn out to be nothing if life throws the pair together on many counts? Or will two strangers keep it that way?Complete

No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote.
