Destiny... 

It's a fickle thing. Some people believe in destiny, whereas others do not. 
Some refuse to believe that there is a set path for them to take throughout their lives. Whereas others accept this concept with grace. 

Riku always believed that there was something out there, waiting for him. Something that was bigger than Destiny Islands. You, on the other hand, firmly believed that while there may be an adventure out there for him to pursue, he needed to stay put. 

When a storm hits Destiny Islands... you are thrown into an entirely new world with Riku by your side. An adventure awaiting the both of you, which according to Master Yen Sid, is an adventure formed by destiny. 

Now only one question remains... do you believe in destiny?

A part of me wishes that I wouldn't think so much. I think that if I DIDN'T think so much, it would lead to a lot less misery. But then again, would I really be the same person if I didn't think so much? I don't think so anyways, because it's who I am. I may be pathetic at times, but all my strength comes from my friends. I wouldn't be here without them, and they've all done so much for me that it would just be stupid to look back and regret everything that my thinking brought. All I've ever wanted is to grow, to protect the people I care for, and to love with all my heart... Sounds like a real hero, right? Well, that's exactly what I want. I want to be a hero. There's so much I need to do, so many things I need to learn, and it starts with overcoming my flaws and becoming someone my friends can be proud of... Someone even HE can be proud of. I love Sora, and if I ever felt like I couldn't do it for myself, I'd do it for him. I'd be his hero, too.

Riku nodded and looked at the stars again. *This is the second book and since the first book has been through all of the Kingdom Hearts games so far. *3rd person pov* The darkness is back. The darkness have taken over the Destiny Islands. Emma, Riku, Terra, Aqua, Sora, and Jayden have all fallen to the darkness yet again. Asher and the others are hiding inside the house making sure nothing happens to anyone else. Vanitas is feeling the affects of the darkness too, but it's not strong enough to control him again. Violet still tries to get passed Vanitas and Roxas to get outside to get to Jayden. "Please let me go out there and help them please! I have to see my brother again!" She starts crying and Roxas hugs her to keep her from falling. Ventus is sitting with Avery, who is wondering where her parents were. Ventus didn't know how to explain to a 10 year old that her parents were apart of the darkness right now. What nobody seemed to notice was Asher walk up towards his room and climb down the wall to get outside. He sneaks by where everyone is but stops so he stays hidden. Avery looks at Ventus and tells him to bring her up to Ashers room because she wants him to hold her. Ventus goes upstairs and sees that Asher's room is shut, so he goes and opens it and then sees the light on but no one else in there. Avery runs over and looks outside the window and sees Asher walking away from it. Ventus looks over and sees that the window is open.
