"The lies had always preached the most to me in life. They washed out the happiness that was already faded by bitter depression-- but sitting in this cheap, plastic chair, watching the bitter tears stream down the flesh of my mother's swollen cheeks and the ultimate sadness radiating in my fathers eyes. Watching the priest tell us about how fragile life was-- and watching the blackened casket be lifted away, I could see how beautiful life actually was.

It didn't seem to matter that I wasn't actually pretty, or that I was frail and the last picked for every sport played in gym class. Life was so stunning, and it had taken me 16 years to realize that."

Evie's life was so seemingly perfect. She got so much more than she wanted, had two parents that loved her to death, and even her relationship with her younger sister was good...

But one small comment had it crashing down for her.

Now she has to brave the heat of bullying-- wherever it occurs-- and along the way she comes to realize how miraculous life truly is...

... But is she too late?
