"I will protect you with my life." Ellie Miller is a 14 year old student leading a normal life with her parents and little sister. She is left alone with her sister for a weekend while her parents went in a buisness trip. But when they wake up the next morning, hell has broken out in the United States. The dead has risen and come back to devour innocent people, and Ellie knows she has to get her and her sister out of the city, and across the ocean to Bradford, England, where their parents are. The U.S Government has said that Europe was almost completly safe, and that there were a dozen military bases that sheltered people if they could get across the ocean. Ellie decides thats where her parents are, and swears to do anything to get her sister and her to safety. ------------------ "I will do absolutely everything in my power to get us to safety." I promse as I grip my sisters' shoulders tightly. She nods with a stern look on her face. I've never seen her so serious, so determined. And it gives me hope. Hope that something good will come out of all of this.

Alright, so people these days are kinda different. Especially when the z-pocalypse started. Now people, or survivors as I call them, are kinda different. Unlike our days before, they can either take in a group or a lone stranger to be in their group. But right now, they're all different. They'll bust in to your property with guns as confetti, bazookas as fireworks, and grenades as firecrackers. Now once they took over your territory, they can either unhook your soul from your body or give you a chance to see our terrible world again. But don't worry about me. I ain't one of them. My names Rory by the way. Anyway, enough the talking and more on the story. In these so called "WalkerDays" People are struggling to survive against the flesh eaters for what we mostly call zombies but in our world, we call them walkers. In the middle of the apocalypse, Rory is a 13 year old girl who is living in Atlanta, Georgia. Rory's father is military man and has been elected as the leader of their group after the true leader died. At first, their community is at Fort Benning, then a week or so later, their group decided to take over a part of Atlanta then slowly take over the whole city. Weeks passed and they'd completed their task and had a very large community. As months passed Rory's teacher assigned her to be the leader of her group of 32 people in her school. One day, there was an attack by the deaders that happened in their whole community and Rory led out her group out to the safe house but one member didn't follow the orders which caused her group to be separated away from her and then she decided to travel on her own and later met a group.Complete

This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. This is a fan fiction based on the last of us game the time line of the story takes place at the end of the game and different location (sorta). I'm also going to do that thing that the game did with the seasons,the whole game is technically a year. If you watch game play you'll know what I'm talking about.
