Buck may be the most vicious and cunning feral dog the Yeehats have ever seen, but he is not invincible. He has slaughtered huskies and Northland dogs like Spitz, put other sled dog subordinates in their place and slayed the most impressive prey of all: man. This is not the tale of an incredible journey but merely the end of one made by a crossbreed with the fighting spirit of the devil and a heart that longed for the wilderness. A tale of Buck's ultimate death as the leader of his pack.

That it sent shivers through my spin, making me close my legs tight. He breathe in and his eyes went complete black. "Say it Jenna or I won't stop what's going to happen next." His voice is so deep that I didn't think it was Alcander. I looked straight in those deep coal eyes and said, "I Jenna Knox reject Alpha Alcander as my mate." ***** Jenna Knox.
