"hast thou considered my servant [brendon], that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth god, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause." - job 2:3 // brendon was a blessed, pious man - the archangel dallon looked down upon him and nearly assumed him to be one of his brothers in disguise. but no, brendon was not an angel's vessel, only a man of incredible purity. a man worthy of heaven, thought dallon, a man worthy of a seat among saints, and so he told the lord thusly. how regrettable did that decision come to be for the archangel? as the human he watched over would say, "hella".
