30 years after the war the stryders have become an elite task force for the American and British army they are sent in the most dangerous of task but are bound to rules of combat they will not accept this major flaw in their army they need to be free from these rules and the only way is to become an independent army, but with out the help from a legendary stryder they will fail.
All characters are mine and so is the story any similarities to real people, events, or other story's are all coincidental

In the heart of Texas, beneath the ruins of a nation that once stood as the world's last superpower, they awaken. Fifty-five thousand soldiers, warriors of the old world, preserved in cryogenic sleep since the twilight of America. With them, their families-men, women, and children frozen alongside the last true remnants of the United States Army. It was a desperate gamble, a contingency plan set in motion by a government that saw the end coming but refused to let the dream die. If the worst should happen, if the bombs fell, these soldiers would be the ones to rebuild. The worst did happen. The world burned. The United States was reduced to ash and legend, just another name lost in the howling chaos of the wasteland. And for 29 years, the vault's technicians kept their watch, aging in silence, waiting for the day the world would be stable enough to wake them. That day has come. In 2106, the chambers unlock. Ice cracks, breath returns, and the army of the past rises once more. They step into a world that is not their own, a world that has forgotten them, a world where law and order have given way to might and madness. But they were not preserved to be forgotten. They were not sent to sleep so that the dream of America would die in the dark. They will reclaim the land. They will rebuild the nation. They will finish what was started. But the wasteland is not a battlefield. It is not a war they were trained to fight. And in this new world, the old rules mean nothing. If they are to bring back the United States, they will have to earn it. Fallout is based on what people in 1998 would think people in 1950 would imagine the world would be like in the 2070s, then nuked. Fallout is more about the people and communities that try to move forward after a nuclear devestation, those who thrive, and then those who are drifting off, and those who have hit such a bottom that they have no further to fall. Many communities will rise from the nuclear ash for most to fail. In this world, there are no good guys; there are no bad guys. Everyone is just trying to get by and survive. The story takes a first-person point of view from a character who is pushed out of her home and into an unknown world. This world is mostly under control by two main factions at war though; one being the self-proclaimed United States and the other being the self-proclaimed owners of the counter, the Enclave. This story has many ups and downs and level offs. It has frustrations, situations, shows emotion, and thinking of the main character. It will read dynamically in its speed and depth in specific details as this girl looks for a new home in the post-nuclear wasteland in the year of 2300.Complete
Taming the Wasteland
Boston 2287. Two hundred years after a nuclear war destroyed mainland USA, and the civilisation that had emerged from the rubble was anything but civilised. The Commonwealth, post nuclear apocalypse, was a wild and unruly place to live. Many armed and dangerous bands operated with almost complete impunity within the state of Massachusetts. Law and order was non-existent. Some claimed a higher cause, others were in it just for the gain, but the one thing all these roaming groups had in common was that they were unhinged, ruthless and fanatical. In order for most normal folk to survive, people had to take up arms of one sort or another and death was a regular and everyday threat for most inhabitants of Boston and the outlying areas. For Nate, Curie, Cait and Piper, the answer to this everyday threat was to form into a tight knit, well trained military unit. Helping out wherever they could, they soon gained a reputation as a team able to get jobs done. What began as a few errands to earn desperately needed currency in order to survive in this chaotic wasteland, soon became broader quests for the greater good. Book 2 in the Companion Series.
