History had a horrible habit of repeating itself at least in my world it's horrible. It's something that not many know about the Black Plague, monsters also roamed the Earth. There where certain families though who were chosen protect humanity if it happened again, and if you haven't figured it out yet my family is one of them. The Discarded Saint
Waking up in what appears to be a strange swamp, running a high fever and staring down the fangs of a wolf was pretty bad. Sad to say, it actually wasn't the worst way Ariana had ever woken up. Not that she could remember much of anything very clearly.
