I was speechless. Absolutely speechless. I had never known Travis as someone who would've had such a way with words, yet here he was. Completely and utterly poring his heart out to me.

"...So I wanted to ask you a question," he said, a light shade of pink rising to his cheeks. "Will you make me the happiest dork alive and... go to prom with me?"

The kindness and care in his words made tears sting in my eyes, but from joy.

"Of course I'll go to prom with you, you dork!" I exclaimed and jumped into his arms, hugging him.
