A modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice.
After graduating high school, Lizzie Bennet is looking forward to doing nothing but reading book after book and drinking copious amounts of tea. But when the mansion at Netherfield Park is bought by the wealthy Charles Bingley, her summer plans are thwarted completely by her insane family. Twenty dollars from her mother is more than enough incentive for Lizzie to investigate (stalk) Netherfield Park's newest owner to see if he's good enough to date one of the Bennet girls.
But Charles Bingley isn't the only one moving in - his beautiful, charming-but-catty sister Caroline and his not-so-charming best friend William Darcy are joining him for the summer as well.
It's the same story we all know and love retold in our time. I hope you enjoy it!

Retelling of the story pride and prejudice. " I love pride and prejudice, and read lots of retelling of that book and thought to write one myself. The character Caroline Bingley is not a favorite of most the readers... Including me. But I imagined what if someone ended up being Caroline of that book. Will they change her character ? Will something interesting happen from it ? , My character Lizzy hills loves to read pride and prejudice and she ended up in the novel being Caroline Bingley... What would happen next ? I will add few lines from the original text to have the fun of it , some scenes will be totally changed for the enjoyment. Not tolerable enough to tempt me(Modern Pride and Prejudice)
In this modern story, Elizabeth Bennet comes from a small town in Saskatchewan, Canada. She has recently been given the opportunity to study abroad but there is a small problem. She has to deal with the prideful Mr.Darcy. Will he overcome his pride? And will she get over her own prejudice? This story is loosely based on the book. Mr.Wickam does not have a big part.
