» The last time any of them saw her alive was the Fourth of July. She was wearing an white sundress that hung loosely on her body. Airy gasps of joy filled the air. She swung on his arm, barely holding on to the sparkling tiara atop of her head. Her beautiful smile had captured the heart of hundreds. The roar of the crowd had begun after the coronation dance. She drew a sharp breath and let go of her partner's hand. He was no longer of use to her. "I promise to -" she swore to be the best the strawberry queen, they would ever live to see. She swung around the room, flinging herself into the arms of any man or boy that dared to catch her. Everyone wanted to be her last dance partner. Yet it was Arthur Simmons; a lanky, pimply boy who had to shove his squared-glasses back up his nose, each time he glanced at his two left feet. His hands and ankles were hancuffed. Sitting cross-legged on the queen bed, was her. She lifted her eyes slowly, staring at Aden with a strangely distrustful expression. She sighed heavily, wiping at her eyes. Aden stared back at her, glowering. "This is kidnap." He spat. "What's your real name?" "Rebecca Chance." "What's your name?" He asked again. She turned to him with a wry grin. "Chloe Lew." Aden grit his teeth. "Do you have parents?" "No. They both died on my tenth birthday, as I blew out my candles, they both choked to death. I remember the look on their faces~ may they both rest in peace, Amen." "Tell me the fucking truth!" "Fine, fine, I was deserted in the middle of an amusement park~" "The truth!!" "Look Aden," She laughed. "I'm just trying to get you something for your hungry soul! Why don't you just believe one, I'll play along, and you'll never know the difference!" "Oh I'm sorry--was I supposed to muster up a whole fake life as well!?" "Just fucking decide what you want from me already Aden, won't you?" She groaned, rolling her eyes. Aden tensed in anger. He stepped before her, pushing her onto the bed. "Anything?" He asked. She slightly frowned, turning away. "Anything that'll shut you up." "Here's what I want--be my girlfriend for three years." Her round brown-orange eyes searched his. They stared and stared, as blank and pale as a sheet of paper. "Why the hell do you want me around for three years!?" "Two years is what I want, the third was just a buffer in case I couldn't get enough of you in two." "'Get enough of me'!?" She screamed in terror. "Just fuck me now!" "No. Two years." She threw a nasty glance up at him. "A year, ever since October 27, at about six p.m. Now get the hell out of my house." She spat. "You'll see Aden, I'll make you break up with me before a month passes." "Yeah, yeah~" Aden grinned. The Agreement was set.
