Before Kira

*spoilers*
When creating the characters Near and Mello, they we originally thought to be L's sons but it was then decided against. To be honest I don't totally remember why but I thought I once heard it was because it was hard to imagine someone like L to meet a woman and then on top of it raise children together. It was also planned to make L unattractive but that didn't work out either so this is my (probably horrible) thoughts on what might have played out if they had chosen L to of had children.

plus there will be flashbacks and dreams and whatnot
